After the dust settled and the wounds were healed, our illustrious heroes were able to take stock of their situation... The leyline nodes were reinforced, preventing the magical protections of the tavern from collapsing and being corrupted. The potion reagents were gathered for a special guest. Clues to the nature of the world were decoded in spite of the explorers tragic sacrifice. Most importantly, the ritual components were gathered, and with those safely in hand, the Order of the Mutable Form looks to the future, hoping to take the fight to the cursed on the spirit plane. While a tragic number of heroes were left bleeding and crushed in the fighting, none of them crossed over to the afterlife to stay. None were lost. Hold your heads high with pride! Heroes don't leave each other behind! Mushroom-Headed Beatrice Vernwell announces the Order's intention is to perform the ritual in the tavern in a couple of months, judging that it's safest there... but that's going to attract attention...
