The Queen's Expedition is a new faction patroned by Queen Virzana with the goal to bring glory to the kingdom through exploration of the Everglade, learning about the local denizens, and discovering the unique magic that permeates that realm. She hopes to shape a generation of adventurers to guide this new land to a time of peace. The Queen allows anyone, regardless of race or creed, to join in her expeditionary forces.

Parishioners of wanderlust, the clerics and voyagers are the beating heart of the Venerated Church of Tyrra. They enter the Everglade with the resolve to seek, learn, teach, and convert. They are the holy men and women of Ethalia and explore in Tyrrha’s great name. Above all else, they yearn for discovery but they bestow aid on all. Their benevolence, while honest in its intention, make some believe the Halos to be too beholden to a world they left behind. Clerics of this group would simply suggest that it is by Tyrrha’s will that they are here at all.

This council of mages claim to be simple samaritans and seekers of knowledge but their work within the weave does not paint them as humble pacifists. Under the jurisdiction of the Queen’s Expedition, they’ve sent their brightest wards into the Everglade with the express purpose of gleaning all there is from the foreign land. The ceiling of magic in which they thought had been reached was entirely shattered with the revelation of these new lands. Thus, new lessons are to be learned, new studies to be taught.

The elite fighters of Ethalia. To even be eligible for such a position one has to show not only a formidable nature on the battlefield but the resilience in the face of insurmountable tasks. Often known as the King’s Hand, they’re armed with the best equipment gold can buy; acting as the fingers keeping his enemies at bay until they need to become his fist. The Queen has imposed a decree that would see some of their number act in defense of her expedition as she reaches into the Everglade.
