Guardians of Vespirian

The Guardians of Vespirian were formed in the years following the appearance of the colony of Exalos. The guardians purpose is to preserve the way of life they followed before the foreigners arrived and be a unified force against the evils that threaten their land. Their members are mostly made up of native tribes including the Grass Hawk tribe, but they also accept membership from foreigners who forsake their old heritage and choose to unify themselves to the Guardians.

Primal Attunement

Description: Any player who is a member of the Guardians of Vespirian can have Wyrdpaint applied to them as if they were a member of the Wildheart class.

Unity’s Song

Suggested for Artisan / Spellweaver

Hear their voices as they hold sway of wild lands. Once heralds and forerunners of anchoring Vesperian’s drifting home, Unity’s Song is made of the body of those who hold its existence most sacred. Crafting hands and spindlers of magic, they seek unification. To bind the lands of Verperian means to better protect its people from their greatest enemy found in the Cursed. Their choir is composed of some of the most powerful and influential beings outside the Gentry. Their knowledge is vast, their abilities staggering, and their presence within the domain is undeniable.

Local Knowledge

Description: Players who are members of Unity’s Song gain a piece of information related to local lore at the beginning of each event that relates to that event.

The Gravelers

Suggested for Scout / Wildheart

This rowdy, rambunctious gang of ex GGF(Gravel Grapplers Federation) competitors is the youngest group to be adopted into the fold of the Guardians. Prior to the destruction of their land’s leystone, the Gravelers wore the crown of Vesperian’s most electric entertainment. Haroburr, the home of the gladiator superstars, fell nearly ten round drifts ago. For a long while, the aimless bunch sought vengeance within the absence of their beloved home field. They were poised to become one of the innumerable threats to the land until the Guardians recognized their passionate fury for what it truly was: A search for home. Now the Gravlers stand in defense of Vespirian with the promise of a new land on the horizon.

Overawe

Description: You hold out your hand to a target within 20 ft and call “OVERAWE” and begin browbeating them with an extremely loud combination of outrageous bragging, impossible threats and gratuitous flexing. Neither of you can move. This effect ends if either your or the target is attacked, if you stop talking for more than a single breath, or if you willingly move more than two steps. This ability can only be used once per hour.

Sentries of the Void

Suggested for Lifebinder / Mystic

Vesperian has long considered the practices of Lifebinding immoral. To lash the lands together was one thing, but to tether a soul to it was something else entirely and deemed abhorrent. However, the skills of these practitioners were invaluable in understanding the balance of life force and the necessary end of death. Paired with the powerful mystics of the land, the Sentries operate as judges of the damned. They are called upon to act in support of righteous life and the eviscerators of the dreaded Cursed. Above all else, balance is to be maintained.

Soul Scavenge

Description: Any player who is a member of the Sentries of the Void can spend 10 seconds roleplaying pulling soul energy from a dying player or NPC to regain 1 rune. This can only be done once per corpse.
