Gods and Archfey, What is the difference?
The Gods of Berla take an active role in the races and ideas that they consider “theirs”, often including within their portfolios entire groups of people that they work to advance and act as their champion. They usually have within their doctrine some sort of guidelines for acceptable behavior, as well as concepts of good and evil.
The Archfey of Vesperian are more aloof, often embodying concepts, ideas or forces that may have little to nothing to do with the life and wellbeing of the common person living there. They are conceptual forces, and their worshippers attempt to embody those forces in whatever ways they can. Purity of form is far more important than moral questions of good and evil.
In common understanding, a god is more likely to get involved based on the identity of the persons involved, while an Archfey is more likely to get involved based on the ideas involved, regardless of the people.
